This turntable submits automotive components in robotic processes. The peculiarity of the system is linked to the size:
- External diameter: 6 m
- Total weight: 5 t
- speed: 90° in 6 s
In order to choose the right motors it was calculated the ideal profile of motion and later have been verified through finite element all drive parts, this was needed because of the particularly high torques involved.
Even all the structural parts that make up the overall structure were verified with FEM .
Finally the system was equipped with a suction system which operates on the robotized stations.
